Announcement for St John’s, Deptford

The Bishop of Southwark is glad to be able to announce the appointment of The Reverend Christopher Hanning as Priest in Charge of St John’s with Holy Trinity, Deptford. Chris has been serving as curate at St John’s, Blackheath, since 2018.

Subject to the satisfactory completion of the preliminary procedures, it is expected that Chris will be licensed on 31 March 2022 by Bishop Karowei Dorgu, Bishop of Woolwich. We wish Chris and Charis, and the church community of St John’s and the wider Ravensbourne Team, God’s every blessing.
